From February 17 to 28, the exhibition “Telesforo Monzón: from myth to reality” will be open in the Birika de Derio culture room, which presents and narrates the most outstanding aspects of the life trajectory of this important politician. Monzón, in addition to being one of the most influential politicians in the Basque Country in the 20th century, was also a writer and composer. Eight large-format panels go through some of the most emblematic episodes of his life. Idealized by some, harshly criticized by others, Monzón was a very polyhedral character, and his career is not exempt from chiaroscuro.
