After touring various Basque towns, the traveling exhibition about Santiago Aznar will be on display for the last time at the following venues: From Monday, February 2nd to Monday, February 16th, 2026, at the La Bolsa Building in Bilbao; from February 17th to March 2nd at the Okendo Exhibition Hall in San Sebastián; from March 3rd to 16th at the Lakua Civic Center in Vitoria-Gasteiz; and from March 17th to 30th at the Abando District Municipal Center in Bilbao.
The exhibition presents the figure of the man who served as Minister of Industry for the Basque Country during the first Basque Government in history, presided over by José Antonio Agirre. Santiago Aznar Saratxaga was an important figure in this brief but highly active government, holding one of the most significant portfolios: Industry, which was largely responsible for the war effort. Through large panels and sheets, we can delve into the biography and career of this important Basque socialist.
