The Leizaola Foundation, as part of the activities it organizes within the Euskal Astea program, will offer Basque music, dance and a performance by the bertsolari Peru Irastorza next Friday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. in Bilbao’s Bilborock hall.
The event will begin and end with a performance by the San Antonio choir from the Bilbao neighborhood of Iralabarri. The choir will perform five songs, from Oskorri to Maitetxu mía, by Francisco Alonso. But the Beti Jai Alai Dantza Taldea from Bilbao will also participate and will make their art known. Among other things, it will present the Lekeitio women’s auresku, the Eguzki dance. In addition, the txistulari Urtzi Leginetxe and the pianist María Solinís will perform classical pieces of Basque music, Sandra Rodríguez will sing and the Roser Carrés Ballet School will perform Ken Zazpi’s Luna.
Attendance is free and all those who wish can go to the Bilborock Hall, Muelle de la Merced 1, in Bilbao.
